Maida Farm Tour

This tour takes us to the region of Madaba, just about an hour south of Jordans capital Amman. Al Maida Olive Oil is a single-family estate producing between 100 -125 tonnes of Extra Virgin Olive Oil a year. The different cultivars of olives, Arbequina, Arbosana, Koroneiki, Nabali and Oleana grown here are picked and also pressed on site. All the oils are pressed to Extra Virgin Standards set by the IOC in Madrid. Cultivar pressing is carried out with the type of tree and the year it was planted in mind, therefore yielding the best from each plot. Al Maida`s sommelier and miller are able to create custom blends aimed at a variety of clientele requirements and taste buds. All oils showcase the level of dedication and craftsmanship that the estate has to offer.
